WiFi (WLAN)

All Tandem sites are covered by a wireless network. Depending on your location, you will see different networks, with different characteristics. The list below gives you an overview:

Tandem_Guest

Purpose: For guests and trainee only
Locations: EB, ZO, SF111, SF113, SF119 (not SF116)
Access: Internet only, no printer or server access

Tandem_Main

Purpose: For teachers and admin staff
Locations: EB, ZO, SF111, SF113, SF119 (not SF116)
Access: Full access on internet, printer and server

Tandem_SF116

Purpose: For teachers and admin staff in SF116
Locations: SF116 only
Access: Full access on internet, printer and server

Tandem_Student

Purpose: For Student-Chromebooks only
Locations: SF111, SF113, SF119
Access: Internet, printer, but no server access

VPN Client - important note:

Please deactivate IPv6 to avoid any sudden problems when connecting to the VPN.

• Go to "System Preferences..." and choose "Network"

• Click on "Tandem network" in the list and clock on "Advanced..."

• A new window will appear. Select the tag "TCP/IP"

• Under "Configure IPv6" select the value "OFF"

• Save the setting

In case of emergency, you can check the status of our network on the administrator portal (Username: Guest123, Password: Guest123 - read access only)
