The doors in Zurich follow a special access plan:
Normally, the scanner lights up with a flashing red light, when a finger is placed on it. If there is no flashing light when a finger is placed on it, check the following:
1) Blue light is on above the "Glutz" button?
Yes, proceed to point 2.
No - if not, press some buttons to see if the system reacts in any way. If not, there is probably no electricity on the system - wait a moment to see if it is just a quick outage. If it is not a quick outage, (and no power outage in the area), contact First Level Support immediately.
2) Blue light is on, but scanner is not reacting (flashing red light) when you put in the finger?
Yes - warm up your finger and try again coming from the upper side of the scanner down onto the glass. If it still does not work, please manually restart the scanner as per below information.
How to reset a Bio controller manually at the door:
Press the "C" button 3 times in a row and always until it stops beeping
After a moment, the blue light should vanish which indicates the system is rebooting.
After a minute, the system should be back up and working again.
Please inform second level support in case of a needed re-boot so that the source of the problem can be analysed.
If after all these steps the system does still not work, and it is not a general power outage in the area, please contact First Level Support immediately.

Login into the corresponding controller (see chapter "access report for each door" above)
Click on the tab "System Services"
Click on "Neustart des Systems in 1 Minute"
Wait a few minutes and try again
Please inform seconds level support so that the source of the problem can be analysed.
