Mac Backup

Since March 2022, Tandem uses a new backup system to protect most Tandem Macs. The backup system is managed by anykey IT AG and is based on Backblaze. All data  (also deleted files) are kept for one year and can be retrieved directly by the user.

To restore your data, follow the steps below:

1.  Click on the Backblaze icon in our menu bar

2. Select "Restore Files..."

3. Login using your standard Google Account

4. Select the files to restore in the file browser

5. Select the first option "Download (free)"

6. Click on "Continue with Restore"

7. BackBlaze will prepare your data and send you an Email with further instruction
